We have some exciting news to share. We've been hard at work behind the scenes building new relationships and systems to help us fulfill our mission of providing more homes for families in need and supporting those living in extreme poverty in the Baja region. So, with much joy, we would like to share that we have secured the funds and team to make Yulissa, Danel, Dariel, and Katherine's dreams come true.
This family has been living in a small home with Yulissa's mom and sister, who is blind, and her niece. They live in a tiny room right now. Daniel has had ongoing health issues, but he works when he can, doing labor for construction and moving heavy boulders. Both children have birthdays that will be close to when we build. We plan to throw them a fun birthday celebration while we are there.
We have already secured all the necessary funds and a full roster of volunteers for this particular build. Huge thank you to our friend Brandon Elliot from Credit Counsel Elite who used his platform to host a fundraiser for JTR. Because of this special fundraising collaboration, we were able to raise funds and have the team needed to fulfill the project. We are excited about partnering with more companies, organizations, and individuals who would like to host a fundraiser on behalf of JTR in the future–if this is you, please reach out to us!
Although this Journey (house build trip) is currently at capacity and there is no need for more volunteers., you can still support the birthday celebration we are planning for the children and any future efforts. We are always grateful for donations.
